These sun-dried tomato chips with sea salt, cashew and herbs are easy to make and almost too good to be true when it comes to their rich, incredibly delicious flavor!

  • tomatoes
  • sea salt
  • cashew
  • dried or fresh aromatic herbs (basil, rosemary, oregano or thyme)
  • garlic powder (optional)
  • inactive yeast flakes (optional)
  • a dehydrator
Instructions
  1. Cut the tomatoes into thin, equal 1/4 '' slices and sprinkle them with sea salt, finely chopped cashew and your favorite dried or fresh aromatic herbs.
  2. Carefully arrange the slices on the dehydrator trays.
  3. Dehydrate for about 5-6 hours or until dried.
  4. Remove from the dehydrator and let them cool before serving.
Notes
Depending on how big your tomato is and how thin you cut the slices, you should get about 8-10 chips from one tomato.
