I have a thing for fonts for quite a while now, so today I’m starting a new column here on the blog with some of my favorites, because for the last couple of years I have grown quite a lovely collection. The best part is that you can get really creative when using fonts, I’ll show you different kind of fonts that you can mix and use to create beautiful printables, graphics and anything that you can think of.Here are my 10 favorite chalkboard fonts, a great combination of handwritten and regular fonts, graphics and ornaments. I ”chalkboarded” a beautiful vintage frame from The Graphics Fairy to integrate it into the design and turned a black background I found online into an amazing lilac chalkboard background.

Let’s talk about the heart, the butterfly and the lovely ornament from the bottom of the page.
Did you know there are fonts with graphics, symbols, images, doodles or different ornaments instead of letters? For the lovely heart, for example, I pressed letter ”j” on the keyboard, using the KR Heartalicious font mentioned earlier. Pretty cool, right?
I’m assuming you already know how to download and install a new font on your computer, but if you don’t, maybe you’ll find this article helpful.
I found the beautiful background online (not sure of the original source, but would love to give proper credit). It was black at first but and after playing a little bit in Photoshop, I transformed it into an amazing lilac chalkboard background. You can click on the picture below to download it for free and use it in as a background for creating chalkboard signs, tags, wedding invitations, printables and many more.

VERSIUNEA IN LIMBA ROMANA
Partea cea mai buna este ca putem deveni foarte creativi atunci cand vine vorba de fonturi, o sa va arat diferite tipuri de fonturi pe care le puteti combina pentru a crea printuri frumoase, grafice si orice va trece prin cap.Iata 10 dintre fonturile mele favorite, care imita scrisul cu creta, pe tabla, o combinatie de diferite fonturi ”scrise de mana” sau normale, grafice si ornamente. Am adaugat in design si o rama vintage de pe The Graphics Fairy, pe care am transformat-o intr-o mini tabla de scris cu creta, precum si un fundal de acelasi tip, care era initial negru si pe care l-am transformat intr-o culoare liliachie uimitoare.

Sa vorbim putin despre inima, fluturas si ornamentul elegant (din josul paginii).
Stiati ca existe anumite categorii de fonturi, care in loc de litere, contin imagini, simboluri, semne grafice, inflorituri sau diferite ornamente? De exemplu, pentru a realiza inima am apasat litera ”j” de pe tastatura, folosind fontul KR Heartalicious pe care l-am mentionat mai devreme. Super tare, nu?
Banuiesc ca stiti deja cum sa descarcati si sa instalati un nou font pe calculator, dar daca nu stiti sa o faceti, poate gasiti acest articol util.
Fundalul l-am gasit online (nu stiu exact sursa originala, dar as vrea sa o pot mentiona aici). Era negru la inceput, dar dupa ce m-am jucat putin cu el in Photoshop, l-am transformat intr-un fundal grozav, care imita tabla de scris cu creta. Puteti da click pe imaginea de mai jos pentru a-l descarca gratis, il puteti folosi pentru a realiza semne, etichete, invitatii pentru nunta si multe altele.
Sper sa va placa si voua cele 10 fonturi preferate de mine, care imita scrisul pe tabla, si fundalul in acelasi ton. Daca le folositi pe undeva, puneti un link catre blogul Dreams Factory si lasati un comentariu mai jos, mi-ar placea sa va vad creatiile.
